MATH ONLINE QUIZ

1) There are 68 scouts at a camp.  3/5 of the number of junior scouts is equal to 1/4 of the number of senior scouts. How many more senior scouts than junior scouts are there?


2) The marks of Matthew and Kiat Liang is 154. Matthew's marks is 3/4 of Kiat Liang's marks. How many marks did Kiat Liang score?


3) The total mass of Box A and Box B is 72kg. The mass of Box A is 0.6 times the mass of Box B. Find the mass of the heavier box.


4) Wen Xin has 5 times as many hairbands as Andrea. Andrea has twice as many hairbands as Hui Loo. If Wen Xin has 36 more hairbands than Hui Loo, how many hairbands does Andrea have?


5) Roy, Nicholas and Kar Weng shared a bunch of lychees. Roy ate 1/5 of the lychees. Nicholas ate 1/2 of the lychees. Kar Weng ate the remaining 12 lychees. How many lychees were there in the bunch?
